Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for an unarmed perimeter patrol in Spokane, WA. The role focuses on customer service, visible presence, and incident response.

You will build a flexible schedule and engage with a dynamic tech/telecom site, using our Claim a Shift platform and smart tools to enhance earnings and security coverage.

Qualifications

• Customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site policies and maintain logs.
• Maintain professional presence and report observations to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic work environment.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
