Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer (Part Time) in Spokane, WA. You will be stationed at a technology, media, and telecommunications site, performing routine unarmed patrols and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires following site procedures, monitoring access, and responding to incidents with a calm, professional approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or protective services preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and professional conduct.
• Ability to follow site procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
