Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed) at our Atlanta warehouse location. You will protect clients and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while providing excellent customer service. This role offers a flexible schedule with two shifts (Mon and Sat 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) and a pay rate of $15.37 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and suspicious activity calmly.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of loading areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, verify entry, and report issues to management.
• Document incidents and observations following site reporting procedures.

Pay Rate: $15.37 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, package or vehicle-related irregularities, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, building perimeters, and other assigned areas.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, damaged property, or policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately while following site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
