Job summary

Allied Universal® in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for Patrol Awareness to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will maintain a visible presence, deter security incidents, assist employees and drivers, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s culture of integrity and reliability.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $16.39 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and exit, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building interiors, trailer yards, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and shift operations.

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
