Qualifications

• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common areas, loading zones, parking facilities, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures to manage situations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions to leadership.
• Document incidents and observations in the system and communicate findings to site representatives.

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Theft Awareness Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist with screening activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and document security-related observations using computer or tablet technology. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeTue04:30 PM - 12:30 AMWed04:30 PM - 12:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, loading zones, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
