As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document activity using computer or tablet tools. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, loading areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
