Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sat: 08:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Sun: 08:30 AM - 01:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of orthopedic healthcare areas, parking lots, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management while maintaining a professional and courteous presence in a healthcare setting.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
