Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer - Site Access in Savannah, GA. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service at a retail distribution location.

Position offers part-time hours with a pay rate of $16.26 per hour. Mornings, evenings, and weekend shifts are included. Background checks and drug screening apply; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, including loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site policy; involve appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and vendor activity, and reporting irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site policy.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
