Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Atlanta, GA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security concerns while delivering courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

As a part-time role with flexible scheduling, you will help deter incidents and support healthcare location operations. A valid driver’s license is not always required for this position, but background checks and drug screening will be completed

Pay Rate: $18.10 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access-control procedures, and adherence to facility policies.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and/or patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
