Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for a property patrol in South Chesterfield, VA. You will patrol, deter incidents, and report security concerns while delivering excellent customer service in a logistics and distribution setting.

The role emphasizes visibility, calm incident response, and clear communication with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and incidents as required.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and communicate relevant security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
