Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a property patrol in South Chesterfield, VA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service to clients in logistics and distribution sites.

The role offers flexible scheduling with the Claim a Shift platform, and requires compliance with site policies, incident response, and detailed reporting to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and incidents as required.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports and communicate relevant security-related information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
