Qualifications

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while following site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to identify hazards and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures; report access issues.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; follow escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports for leadership and site representatives.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
