Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of loading areas, trailer lots, parking areas, entry points, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, unsecured doors or gates, and other security-related conditions to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents calmly, document observations and actions according to site requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 03:30 AM - 11:30 AM
• Sun 03:30 AM - 11:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of loading areas, trailer lots, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, damaged property, unsecured doors or gates, and other security-related conditions to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
