Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle, visitor, and contractor access and document observations and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security needs.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor vehicle, visitor, and contractor access in accordance with site requirements; document observations, incidents, and completed patrols accurately.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, drivers, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
