Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA. You will provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, while maintaining a visible security presence and following site procedures.

You will perform regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document findings for site leadership. This role offers flexible DayTime weekend shifts and opportunities to grow within our security team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, including medical emergencies or access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity per site procedures with a professional presence.
• Document and report incidents and policy violations to site leadership and management.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an urgent care setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies, disruptive behavior, and/or access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence.
• Document and report incidents, unusual conditions, and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
