Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply and vary by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors and employees while following site procedures and safety rules.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the technology facility, exterior grounds, access points and parking areas; report observations.
• Monitor access activity; verify visitors, contractors and deliveries per site procedures; coordinate escorts as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms and emergencies; notify appropriate personnel and document actions.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports and shift communications as required.

Pay Rate: $23.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the technology facility, including exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and follow site procedures for visitor, contractor, and delivery verification, documentation, and escort coordination as applicable.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
