Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, maintain logs and reports of incidents and observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Support protection of sensitive operations by reporting policy violations and facility concerns to leadership.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related incidents and observations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Support the protection of sensitive business operations and technology assets by reporting policy violations, suspicious activity, and facility concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
