Allied Universal in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Incident Response). Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors through site procedures and access-control practices.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity; report unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a healthcare foundation location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
