Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and security concerns calmly and professionally.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and documenting visitor/vehicle information.
• Maintain a professional presence and report maintenance hazards or security issues promptly.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $27.55 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization as directed, and documenting visitor, vehicle, and/or incident information in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming healthcare environment and promptly reporting maintenance hazards, disturbances, or other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
