Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Elizabethtown, PA. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible deterrent, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

The role offers weekend evening shifts (Sat/Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) with pay of $17.84 per hour, plus access to our Shift-Claim platform for additional opportunities. Compliance with site policies and emergency procedures is required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and contact emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Pay Rate: $17.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
