Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Philadelphia, PA at a commercial real estate location. You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access points, and follow site procedures.

The role features a flexible schedule via the Claim a Shift platform and prefers CPR/First Aid certifications, a high school diploma, background check, and, for driving positions, a valid driver’s license.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thu: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building information, and report unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
