Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed) in Elizabethtown, PA. You will patrol premises, provide a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to tenants and staff.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.


• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.


• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
