Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories per laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Job Schedule: Tue 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM, Wed 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and manufacturing location while carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
