Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional in Arlington, VA to provide customer service at a financial institution location while enforcing site-specific procedures. You will conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents to keep the site secure.

The role requires a minimum security background, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Prior Segway/T3 experience is preferred and serving at least 18 years old is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while enforcing site-specific security procedures and policies at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, maintaining awareness of visitor and vendor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to emergency protocols.
• Prepare clear activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor and vendor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Experience operating a Segway or T3 is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
