Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional in Seattle to provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors while enforcing site policies and responding to incidents.

The role involves regular patrols of transit facilities, monitoring access points, and reporting incidents with a calm, professional approach. A high school diploma is required, and some security certifications are preferred.

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, stations, and surrounding perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe activity, and maintain daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Direct visitors and provide general information while supporting a professional environment at government transportation locations.

Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, stations, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe and report activity, and maintain detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Assist with directing visitors and providing general information while supporting a professional, welcoming environment at government transportation locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
