Job summary

Allied Universal, a North American leader in security and facility services, seeks a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in York, PA. You will provide customer service, deter incidents, monitor access, and maintain a visible presence at a logistics and distribution site.

This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn our Guardian platform and claim additional shifts. A high school diploma, 18+ years, and a background check are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and follow site policies, and assist in emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Verify authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries at access points.
• Document patrols and incidents and relay information to Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support badge access activities. Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
