Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in San Jose, CA to provide customer service and protect client sites. You will conduct rounds, monitor areas, and maintain a visible security presence while following site policies.

This role offers a flexible weekend schedule (Sat 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Sun 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM) and pays $20.00 per hour, with opportunities to learn and grow within a dynamic team.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
