Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Arlington, VA at a financial institution. You will monitor entrances, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service while following site protocols.

As part of a dedicated team, you will complete incident reports, coordinate with supervisors, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Flexible evening shifts and opportunities for training and growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or security operations is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred, with a focus on safety and protocol compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
