Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Arlington, VA. You will monitor entry points, perform routine patrols, assist visitors, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for clients and employees.

You’ll use access control procedures, report incidents, and collaborate with site management.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, employees, and financial institution personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, lobby areas, parking facilities, business offices, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized individuals throughout the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour

Job Schedule: Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
