Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time Unarmed Patrol) in Milpitas, CA. You will patrol and monitor a technology-focused site, deter incidents, document activities, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors.

Position is part-time with a schedule that includes Tue, Wed, and Sat shifts. Pay is $25.00 per hour, with opportunities to use our Claim a Shift platform and advance within a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Formación

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants subject to background checks as required by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain authorized access to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare accurate, timely reports and daily activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sat 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You\'ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.
