Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Stafford, TX to safeguard clients across industries, including logistics and distribution, using our Shift-Claim platform to build flexible schedules.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will perform routine site patrols, maintain a visible presence, and communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel while upholding our customer-service and integrity-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered as allowed by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and carry out security-related procedures at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and address access or package-related concerns calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entrances, and perimeters.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, package or vehicle-related irregularities, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entrances, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
