Allied Universal in Temple, TX is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver) to join our logistics-focused team. You will perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access, and document observations while supporting a welcoming, safe site for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

The role offers flexible scheduling with a fixed Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM and Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM shifts. Pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation with accurate details in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
