As a Driving Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, support badge control, and report security-related concerns. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, including entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Complete clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
