Allied Universal in Moncks Corner, SC is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for morning shifts. You will monitor areas, conduct patrols, assist employees and visitors, and enforce site policies while delivering friendly, professional service.

As a part-time role, schedules include Saturday and Sunday mornings. Requirements include a high school diploma, 18+ and background check; prior security or customer service experience is helpful. Training and benefits available where noted.

• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and professionally.
• Carry out regular unarmed patrols of the facility, docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity.
• Prepare incident reports and share information with site leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM


• Sun: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.


• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
