Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Moncks Corner, SC to protect clients across industries. You will provide courteous customer service, perform unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents using our tools and procedures in place.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:30 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
