Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor arrivals and departures, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as appropriate.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations involving security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Tue - 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed - 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur - 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri - 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
