Allied Universal and its Fort Mill, SC location are seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to provide customer service, patrol duties, and access control at a busy logistics site. You will deter incidents, monitor entrances, and support orderly operations with professionalism and teamwork.

Expected schedule includes Sat and Sun from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The role offers competitive pay at $17.39 per hour, with opportunities for training and growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• At least six months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $17.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control and visitor, contractor, and delivery‑driver entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
