• Drug screen may be required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time - Unarmed in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
