As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with team members and visitors while using technology to document activities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery driver activity, and reporting irregularities according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
