As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol residential and technology-focused locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to concerns, communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.75 - $18.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate daily activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Support a professional environment at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by observing conditions, reporting maintenance or security-related concerns, and following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
