Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for Tomball, TX. You will protect clients across tech, media, and telecom environments, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while communicating professionally with employees and visitors.

Pay is $16.15 per hour with DayTime Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen may be required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site policies and responding to incidents as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly and document observations in reports.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with leadership and client representatives.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. DayTimeSat09:30 AM - 08:30 PMSun10:30 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required incident reports.
• Support a professional environment by providing directions, maintaining awareness of site activity, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
