Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Patrol Readiness Security Officer in Allen, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, maintain visibility to deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

Flexible part-time schedule includes evening shifts and weekend coverage at a technology-focused location. Responsibilities include documenting observations, responding to alarms, and coordinating with site contacts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to background check and drug screening per law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notifications according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and assist with access-control procedures as assigned.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
