Allied Universal in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol. You will drive patrol routes at retail and mall locations, maintain a visible security presence, deter incidents, and help create a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff.

This part-time position pays $24.40 per hour and offers flexible day shifts. A valid driver’s license, minimum age, high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly according to escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols in retail areas, parking lots, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports in accordance with site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
