Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver Alarm Response in Bellevue, WA. You will provide security support for retail locations, deter theft, and respond to alarms while maintaining a visible presence and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity and policy violations to deter theft and unauthorized access.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel to help deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized access.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and relevant observations accurately and communicate with store management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
