Job summary

Allied Universal in Redmond, WA is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time, unarmed patrol role to serve clients across manufacturing spaces and offices. You will provide excellent customer service, maintain a visible security presence, and help deter incidents through proactive patrols.

The position offers weekend shifts (Sat & Sun 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) at $24.75 per hour. Minimum age 18, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check are required, with a drug screen and licensing

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and support controlled entry procedures for personnel and vendors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following established emergency protocols.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related activities through accurate reports.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and support controlled entry procedures for personnel and vendors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notification protocols.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related activities through accurate reports and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
