Job summary

Allied Universal in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) to monitor and safeguard the technology and media location. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, and document activity using available technology.

This role offers a flexible schedule and a path to grow within a leading security organization. Requirements include a high school diploma, background check, and basic computer or tablet proficiency; CPR/license preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology and media location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security‑related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $23.65 / Hour

Job Schedule: Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
