Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Rossford, Ohio. You will be responsible for safeguarding personnel and property at an industrial manufacturing site, carrying out access-control procedures, and responding to incidents with a calm, professional approach.

In this role, you’ll monitor entry points, verify credentials, log visitors, and perform regular patrols while maintaining accurate reports and shift documentation.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control access to restricted operational areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed by policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Complete accurate reports, access records, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to incoming personnel and site contacts.

Pay Rate: $15.31 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
