As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. Your visible presence will help to deter incidents while you provide professional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial facilities, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Observe operations and report hazards, damaged property, or other conditions that may require attention while maintaining a professional presence to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
