As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and driver credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities through clear and accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
