Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced TWIC in Orange, TX. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with six-month commitment and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

You will provide customer service, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining security procedures at a government services location. The position requires a valid TWIC and driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while following site procedures and security policies at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to supervisors and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time TWIC in Orange, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
